Privacy Policy
Last updated: March 27, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how InvoiceAgent collects, uses, stores, and shares information when you use the InvoiceAgent website and services.
1. Who we are
InvoiceAgent is a web application for scheduling invoices, generating PDF invoices, sending invoice emails, managing recurring invoice workflows, and handling related billing and account features.
If you have questions about this Privacy Policy, you can contact us at support@bronsondunbar.com.
2. Information we collect
We may collect the following categories of information:
Account information, such as your name, email address, and account identifiers created through Clerk authentication.
Invoice data, such as invoice numbers, invoice dates, sender details, recipient details, line items, tax settings, totals, notes, payment references, and scheduling preferences.
Billing and subscription information, such as your selected plan, trial dates, subscription status, and identifiers associated with Dodo-hosted checkout and subscription events.
Payment matching data, such as Wise payment references or webhook data used to help mark invoices as paid.
Email delivery data, such as recipient addresses, email content templates, send status, reminder status, and PDF attachments generated through the service.
Technical and usage information, such as request logs, browser or device data, IP address, and security-related event data that may be collected by us or our service providers when you use the service.
3. How we collect information
We collect information directly from you when you sign up, use the dashboard, create invoices, configure billing, contact support, or otherwise interact with the service.
We also receive information from service providers and integrations, including Clerk for authentication, Resend for email delivery, Dodo Payments for subscriptions and checkout events, and Wise webhook data if you use Wise-related payment matching.
4. How we use information
We use information to:
Create and manage your account.
Generate, schedule, preview, send, and track invoices.
Process reminder emails, PDF attachments, recurring invoice workflows, and delivery status tracking.
Manage trials, subscriptions, account access, and billing status.
Respond to support requests, protect the service, prevent abuse, and improve reliability and security.
Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Use.
5. Legal bases and privacy rights
Depending on where you are located, we may rely on one or more legal bases for processing, including performance of a contract, legitimate interests, consent, and legal compliance.
Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export certain personal information, or to object to or restrict certain processing. To make a request, contact support@bronsondunbar.com.
6. Cookies and authentication
InvoiceAgent uses Clerk for authentication and account management. Clerk uses cookies and similar technologies that are necessary to operate sign-in, sign-up, session handling, and account security.
Some of these cookies are required for the service to function correctly and should not be blocked if you want to use authenticated areas of the app.
7. Email, payments, and third-party services
We use Resend to send transactional emails, including invoice emails, reminders, and test sends. Those emails may include invoice data and PDF attachments.
We use Dodo Payments for subscription checkout and subscription lifecycle events. Payment card information is generally processed by Dodo Payments or its payment partners, not stored directly by InvoiceAgent.
We may process webhook or reference data from Wise or Dodo Payments to reconcile billing and invoice payment status.
8. How we share information
We may share information with:
Service providers and infrastructure vendors that help us operate the service, including authentication, email delivery, hosting, and billing providers.
Law enforcement, regulators, courts, or other parties where required by law, legal process, or to protect rights, safety, or the service.
A buyer, investor, or successor in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, subject to appropriate confidentiality protections where applicable.
9. Data retention
We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, maintain records, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements.
Retention periods may vary depending on the type of information, such as account records, invoice content, email delivery logs, and billing data.
10. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to help protect personal information. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
11. International transfers
Your information may be processed in countries other than the one in which you live, including where our service providers operate. Where required, we will take steps designed to support lawful cross-border transfers.
12. Children’s privacy
InvoiceAgent is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children in violation of applicable law.
13. Changes to this Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we may update the effective date and take additional steps where required by law.
